Dolphin's Pearl Deluxe is slightly lower volatility than other Novomatic games like the very popular Book Of Ra Deluxe and the similar Lord Of The Ocean (one of my favourites) but doesn't have the expanding scatter symbol during the free spins like Book Of Ra which is why. It's not as low variance as their Reel King game though which is arguably the most diluted of all Novomatic games.
It's better than the original 5 payline original Dolphins Pearl though and the feature is triggered in exactly the same way (3 or more Oyster Shells scattered anywhere in view). If you like Dolphins Pearl then you will probably also like the Lucky Ladys Charm slot which has near identical gameplay (and is just as volatile as Dolphins Pearl Deluxe!)
