NB: Jackpot Party casino is only available to residents of the UK, Sweden, Iceland, Finland and the Isle Of Man at present.
It's taken a while for WMS to get going on free-play access to their online games but finally the Wizard Of Oz slot is
now available in that format. There are actually two Wizard of Oz slots online - this one and the 'Ruby Slippers' version and for those
that play in terrestrial casinos you'll probably know there are a shedload of others.
This version of the Wizard Of Oz is the one with the Emerald City Bonus. Essentially that means you have to get teh Bonus symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5
to trigger the feature (which happens more than you'd think as it's not a terrically volatile slot unusually for WMS!) and then you get one of
3 features. The boringest of the all is the money award where you simply get some cash. The free spins with added xtra wilds courtesy of the
witches flying monkies is the most interesting but personally I've found it rarely pays as well as the third option: the Emerald City bonus
The last of the 3 is also a pick 'em style feature but with multiple levels. It's not bad actually although overall I don't rate this WMS
Wizard Of Oz version as much as the Ruby Slippers version (both are available at Jackpot Party online
but only to residents of the UK and Ireland, Sweden, Iceland, Finland and the Isle Of Man right now). By the time you read this you can
probably add Belgium to the list to.
Speaking as a UK player, you don't often see WMS games in our terrestrial casinos which tend to be dominated by IGT games like
the Cleopatra slot and Novomatic's popular Gaminator family including Book Of Ra
and Dolphin's Pearl Deluxe. It's a shame as WMS have some excellent games: the "Zeus" slots
and Money Burst games like "Bruce Lee", "Glitz" and "Fortunes Of The Caribbean" (all online at
Jackpot Party) are my favourites - the Hot Hot Super Respin slots like "Zeus 2", "Plataea" and "Griffin's Gate"
are also excellent. Oh... and "Black Knight" :)
