Playtech's Iron Man 2 slot was released to Games Fruit Machines in April 2011 and is
part of the Playtech Marvel slots series which also includes the Hulk,
the excellent Fantastic 4 slot and of course the original
Iron Man slot. I'd put the Iron Man 2 slot on a par with my favourite in the series (Fantastic 4)
as the gameplay is very decent with a good free spins bonus. Triggered as ever by 3 scatters in
view (the Iron Man symbol) the free spin bonus on Iron Man 2 features an "increasing multiplier".
You get 10 free spins starting at 2x and every 2 spins the multiplier increases by x1 so the last
2 spins are at 6x. Additionally, the middle symbol on reel 3 is permanently wild on all free spins.
The graphics and sounds are very good - all the newer Playtech slots are excelling in that area now
and making more traditional games like the Book Of Ra slot machine
and Reel King seem even more dated that they did already!
The Iron Man 2 slot is no exception and while I still haven't decided if it's a "stayer" yet,
right now I love it.
